935 silver workshop
BEGINNERS WAX CARVING WORKSHOP
€220 per person
Silver and casting costs are charged separately based on the final design.
Join me for an intimate studio workshop where you'll transform an idea, memory, feeling, or sketch into a wearable object.
Rather than working directly in metal, we'll begin with a special modeling wax that offers complete freedom to experiment with shape, texture, and form. Through carving, shaping, sculpting, melting, and sanding, you'll create an original piece that reflects your own aesthetic and personality.
The workshop is inspired by the same process I use when developing jewelry for ASTERISK. Organic forms, unusual surfaces, and personal interpretations are encouraged. No previous jewelry-making experience or drawing skills are required. Curiosity is enough.
Following the workshop, your wax model can be professionally cast in solid 935 silver and carefully finished in my Berlin studio. Once polished and completed, your unique piece will be ready to wear.

Additional Costs
Silver and casting costs are not included in the workshop fee and are calculated separately after the workshop based on the size, weight, and complexity of your finished design.
As precious metal prices fluctuate, the silver cost will be calculated according to the current daily market rate, currently around €2.80 per gram. Casting for basic rings, pendants, and small objects costs approximately €20. Larger or more complex pieces may incur higher casting costs, which will be confirmed with the caster after the workshop.
For reference, most rings and small jewelry pieces typically incur approximately €60–80 in additional silver and casting costs, although larger or heavier designs may exceed this range.
The final cost will be confirmed before your piece is sent for casting.
What Can Be Made?
Participants are welcome to create a ring, pendant, pair of earrings, or another small wearable object.
The focus is on creating a piece that feels personal and expressive rather than following a predetermined design. You are welcome to arrive with an idea, sketch, image, or other visual references, but this is not required.
Throughout the workshop, I will help you develop your idea into a design that works with the lost-wax casting process and can be comfortably worn as jewelry.
Important Notes
This workshop focuses on creating jewelry through the lost-wax casting process.
Gemstones, stone setting, chains, and advanced mechanical constructions are not included. Designs should be suitable for casting and achievable within the workshop timeframe.
If you have a specific idea and are unsure whether it can be realized during the workshop, feel free to get in touch before booking.
Receiving Your Piece
At the end of the workshop, you will leave your completed wax model with me.
Your piece will then be professionally cast in 935 silver before being cleaned, finished, and polished by hand in my Berlin studio.
Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for casting and finishing.
Once your jewelry is ready, you will be notified for collection from the studio. Shipping can also be arranged upon request for an additional fee.
Additional Castings
The workshop includes the preparation and finishing of one design per participant.
If you create additional wax models during the workshop and would like to have them cast, this may be possible for an additional fee covering casting, silver, and finishing.
Please discuss this with me during the workshop.
